Maritime Security Team Leader Opportunity - Holyhead

We are looking for 2 dedicated Maritime Security Team Leaders to join our professional team and play a key role in safeguarding our operations.
You will be based at a prestigious site in Holyhead, where you will work alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive and collaborative environment. Your contribution will be essential in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel.
Collaborating with Stena Authorities, UK Border Agency (UKBA) and SB Police to ensure the safety and security of the ports. This role involves working as part of a dedicated team of 7 officers on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

* Hours: 38.5 hours per week
* Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off
* Salary: £12.01 per hour
* Transport: Driving licence with access to your own vehicle/good transport links

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise your team members
* Conduct equipment searches to prevent prohibited items from entering the Port
* Perform X-ray screening, bag searches and security checks
* Carry out vehicle and freight inspections
* Control access to the Terminals
* Assist customers with queries and support their journey through the Port
* Follow security notices and complete incident documentation clearly and accurately
* Respond to and assist in emergency situations
* Conduct patrols to ensure all areas are secure
* Investigate and attend to reports of incidents
Essential Skills
Job Essentials:
* SIA licence
* Driving licence with access to your own vehicle/good transport links
* 1-5 years experience in team leadership
* A full 5-year checkable work history
* Problem solving abilities
* Experience in roster management
* Incident responding experience
* Ability to work effectively under pressure
* Trustworthy and reliable
* Excellent timekeeping skills and is flexible
