We are looking for Platform Engineer's with deep expertise in Kotlin to help scale and enhance their high performance systems. This is an opportunity to work with modern backend architecture, collaborating with top-tier engineers in a fast-moving, product-focused environment.
Responsibilities as a Platform Engineer:
* Contribute to the businesses technology strategy and architecture
* Contribute to the backend Kotlin infrastructure
* Ship resilient and well tested production code
* Collaborate with different teams to deliver value that aligns to business objectives
* Mentor and coach more junior members of the team
* Continuously evolve and improve the ways of working in the business
Key Requirements:
* Strong commercial experience in Kotlin for backend development
* Experience in developing with the JVM Ecosystem
* Confidence to work with Spring Boot or Ktor to build robust microservices
* Strong ability to write secure, resilient, and well-tested code
* Desire for building API-first products
* Deep understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and test-driven development
* Experience with Agile methodologies, including peer reviews & pair programming.
* Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
