How you'll make a differenceAs Participation Manager, you will play a key role in the creation and implementation of participation strategies and activities across the council, ensuring children and young people’s voices are at the heart of children’s services.The Participation Team organises and develops a range of children and young people participation groups. These groups ensure that their voices are heard and feedback is passed onto senior managers within the council to help inform our processes, procedures and strategies. This is a limited term contract until Sept 2025 What you will be doingYou will be responsible for setting and leading a clear participation plan, identifying participation activities and setting appropriate milestones. Outcomes will be presented at forums with detailed data analysis.You will advise Senior Officers to ensure the participation plan is embedded into children’s services being sure to balance the needs of each participation group.You will be responsible for leading and motivating the Participation Team, providing advice and support to ensure we maintain a high service standard.Acting as a main point of contact for internal teams, you will gain insight from young people to feedback to external organisations such as the NHS and Youth Services.
