What’s the Role?
We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead our sales team, focusing on new car sales. This role involves utilizing your sales management experience to lead the team in delivering high-quality service to our customers. Reporting to the General Manager, this position offers the opportunity to join a reputable automotive retail group.
What does a typical day involve?
* Managing the team of Sales Executives and the Transaction Manager
* Leading and motivating the team to meet sales targets for new vehicles, finance, and insurance products
* Liaising with customers face-to-face and via phone/email
* Coordinating marketing efforts for vehicles and services both in-dealership and online, working with marketing and digital sales teams
* Ensuring high customer satisfaction scores
* Handling customer complaints efficiently and effectively
* Tracking and maintaining KPIs
* Ensuring all sales are FCA compliant in collaboration with the Transaction Manager
* Performing second-facing when required to close deals
* Preparing stock to company standards
* Maintaining high standards of showroom and forecourt presentation

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a sales leader in the automotive industry. Additionally, you will demonstrate:
