As Cloud DevOps Engineer you will be part of the technical governance team of the Demo and Integration Team contributing to the Identity & Biometrics Solution Business Line (IBS BL) from Thales Digital Identity Security (DIS) Global Business Unit. The mission, should you choose to accept it covers cloud and container architecture and security engineering. You will help our teams to accelerate their cloud transformation into private and public cloud environments and help to coordinate our containerization efforts. The role requires a large part of hands-on implementation but also communication and knowledge sharing. Development duties: Be able to lead the implementation and setup Cloud technologies in collaboration with technical leaders of the engineering teams. Develop and set up the automation tools (CI/CD) to support the development/validation/integration and deployment of cloud solution. Write guideline, installation guide, documentation, training materials to make the engineering team autonomous on those technologies. Support duties: Train the various engineering teams on the cloud-based technology and CI/CD tools to support the cloud transformation, make them autonomous. Provide guidance and expertise during architecture definition (i.e security audit, architecture design, pre-sales) Communication duties: Liaise with other cloud engineers for all cloud-based matters from the various IBS product line, DIS BL, and corporate group (CCoE/CTO) Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in computer science (or Information Technology related field) 5 years of experience in the field of software development (server-side development) 3 years of experience with deployment and maintaining of highly available solutions on AWS 2 years of experience in system integration and deployment of cloud-based technology (IaaS, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, monitoring system, authentication system, repository) Experience of writing infrastructure as a code (IaC) using Terraform Experience in various database repository model (SQL, NoSQL, S3, NAS) as a designer or administrator Experience in a large and complex distributed system with high availability and high scalability (using an application server, message-broker service, streaming, load-balancing) Experience in the network protocol (SOAP/ REST, HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, WAF, RTCP) Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code language, scripting code, continuous automation principles (CI/CD) Good knowledge of operating systems (Win/Linux) and proficiency in at least one development language (Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Go) AWS SAA or AWS SAP certification considered positively.
