An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team in the Louth office. Working within a professional environment, you will collaborate with an experienced team and gain exposure to all aspects of accounting. This role would suit someone who is AAT qualified or part ACCA qualified. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
You will support the Resident Partner and Associate at the Louth office. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Full client management, including managing your own client list
* Attending client meetings and conducting on-site client visits
* Liaising with clients via phone and email
* Finalising accounts and preparing business and personal tax computations
* Reviewing and preparing accounts and supporting working papers for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Reviewing and preparing VAT returns, including ensuring compliance with Making Tax Digital requirements
* Day-to-day use of accounting software such as Iris, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
* Bookkeeping tasks
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
* Strong IT skills
* Good organisational skills
* Excellent numeracy and communication skills
* Reliable and adaptable
* Attention to detail
* Minimum AAT qualification or part ACCA qualified
Salary:
* Commensurate with experience.
Schedule:
* Monday 8:45am to 5:15pm to Friday 8:45am to 4:00pm.
