We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team in Halifax from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to engage students at Key Stage 3 and 4, helping them to build confidence and excel in this essential subject.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4
* Foster a love for Maths and encourage students to see the relevance of the subject in real life
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students at varying levels of ability
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development
* Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the Maths curriculum is delivered effectively
* Participate in school activities and professional development opportunities
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
* Previous experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 (preferred)
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A genuine passion for teaching and helping students achieve their potential
* The ability to motivate students and create an inclusive learning environment
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
