Domus have an exciting opportunity for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join a growing provider of care and support for adults with Learning Disabilities.
Based in Manchester, you will be allocated a number of residential services to ensure the group’s services achieve high quality outcomes for the people supported.
You will develop and deliver specific Behaviour and PROACT-SCIPr-UK training to improve the confidence and competence of co-workers in supporting people
We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively with colleagues including key workers to help the people supported explore and realise their potential to develop relationships, skills and independence so that they can pursue all opportunities

Key responsibilities of a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner:
Demonstrating exceptional practice leadership practitioners will support the skills and knowledge development of support staff through training, modelling and guidance
Be responsible for own professional development, ensuring practice and knowledge at the leading edge of PBS
Attend PBS Network meetings and engage in as well as contribute to training & development
Undertake and contribute to: functional assessments, transition planning and support, service debriefs as required.
