Sales Associate – Commodity Trading / Data Products / SaaS An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global commodity trading company for a Sales Associate, in this role you will expand their sales pipeline for consulting projects, further develop our internal sales structure and co-ordinate the development of both new business proposals and seek out targets for project resales. You will also be involved in refining and improving their sales structure and lead the up sale of products and services. Data is core to their product offering, and your role will include the design, marketing and sales of data products and services. Role and Responsibilities: Assist in the building of the advisory sales pipelines Co-ordinate proposals and sales of consulting projects with teams globally Find, contact, and build relationships with target companies and key personnel for sales and resales of consulting projects Generate Business Intelligence product sales opportunities through sales and marketing of our capabilities Grow business through up-sales of data to heavy users Support our consulting and corporate finance teams fulfil client projects To take responsibility for your performance and to work together to achieve our organizational goals To attend training courses which are identified as being necessary for the performance of the role Essential Skills and Experience: At least 3 years relevant sales experience (preferably in consulting) Advanced communication skills Strong I.T. skills including proficiency in Excel and Word Excellent organisation and time management skills Keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Self-starter with the ability to use initiative for problem solving Resourceful, innovative, and proactive Personable with the ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels both internally and externally Ability to speak a second language - desirable Package Excellent basic salary and discretionary bonus Full corporate benefits package
