Your Role: As the Nursery Area Manager for the Cheshire region, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that the nurseries under your leadership provide the highest standards of care and education. You’ll inspire and motivate your team, leading by example, and ensuring that all policies and procedures are successfully implemented. Your core responsibilities will include: Empowering settings to consistently achieve and exceed high standards of care and education. Providing continuous support and guidance to nursery managers, fostering their personal and professional development. Leading by example, modeling best practices and exceptional leadership skills. Managing the performance of nursery managers and supporting them in achieving their targets and objectives. Ensuring that all policies and procedures are effectively implemented across your region. Building and maintaining positive relationships with staff, parents, and external stakeholders. Taking an active role in the recruitment of talented, passionate nursery teams. Staying at the forefront of industry legislation, documentation, and best practices. Overseeing health and safety across all sites, ensuring compliance and safety standards are upheld. Understanding and implementing the Local Authority funding model to its fullest potential. Collaborating with local councils to ensure smooth operational processes and systems. Developing and refining policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of care. Leading impactful training sessions for management and nursery teams, ensuring continuous development. Monitoring nursery progress and aligning it with national priorities. Leading managers' meetings, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices. Championing equality, diversity, and inclusion across all nurseries. Ensuring all managers align with the values and objectives of the nursery group. Spearheading self-evaluations and quality assurance processes to maintain excellence. Actively promoting Bright Stars Nursery Group to external stakeholders and within the community.
