The Role
As a Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for event management, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior team members, vendors, and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality events. The position is expected to contribute to plan, manage, execute, and deliver virtual/hybrid/physical events. Some of these include high profile client events such as TCS Summer Receptions, TCS London Marathon, London E-Prix and key customer-focused events.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Management
•Assist the event project lead with event planning and production.
•Ensure effective implementation and execution of all event milestone planning, project planning, meeting minutes, and deadline delivery.
•Assist with event nomination and invitation processes as well as the development of event websites, event mobile apps, and registration management.
•Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services.
Admin and Compliance
•Event administration, including internal and external processing of contracts and invoices.
•Comply to GDPR and work closely with DPO team for event personal data.
Stakeholder management
•Create and distribute all event-related communications to event delegates and internal stakeholders.
•Collaborate with appropriate internal stakeholders to develop and execute events.
•Maintain professional relationships with the company’s multi-tiered event vendors, hosting organizations, suppliers, local event teams, and other third parties.
Reporting and Presentation
•Create data-driven report in power point presentations for each of the events/campaigns in the region. This would include event specific reports as well as weekly/quarterly marketing reports for leadership.
Your Profile:
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
•Professional experience in event planning, project coordination, or a similar role.
•Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.
•A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a customer-focused mindset.
•The ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative, and remote environment plus the ability to deal effectively with different personalities and cultures at all levels within the organization.
•The ability to work well under pressure/ deadlines within a multi-tasking environment.
•Demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness with attention to detail.
