We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join NHS Dumfries and Galloway’s Acute & Diagnostic Administration team as a relief Clerical Officer within the Front of House service on an adhoc basis.
A relief / bank worker contract allows you to undertake shifts on an as and when required basis.
Based within DGRI and MHTC the post holders will fulfil a crucial role in providing clerical and administrative support to all areas within the Front of House service (DGRI – Main Reception, Orthopaedics, Outpatients, Oncology, Day Surgery Unit and wards. MHTC - Bay 3 and Ophthalmology Theatres).
The role includes providing reception / admin / clerical support to relevant area, working closely with clinical staff providing admin support ensuring that documentation such as clinic packs and electronic case notes are completed within set timescales.
The successful candidate should be a team player with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude as they will assist in a variety of areas dependant on service level objectives.
Other attributes which we would be looking for the successful candidate to demonstrate on their application form and at interview is good communication and organisation skills with attention to detail, to be self motivated, enthusiastic and committed.
This post will be supported by Colleagues / Team Leader / Administration Services Manager / Administration Services Manager.
The post will require the successful applicant to obtain Standard Disclosure Clearance.
