Job Title:Cybersecurity Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Lead to oversee and manage our cybersecurity efforts for the FDA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity management, regulatory compliance, and will ensure all deliverables meet the highest security standards required by the FDA. This role involves developing and implementing robust security protocols, leading a team of cybersecurity professionals, and ensuring all systems and data are protected from potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies and protocols
* Ensure all project activities comply with FDA cybersecurity requirements and guidelines.
* Manage and oversee the cybersecurity team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team meets project goals.
* Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address potential security threats.
* Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Regulatory Affairs, and Project Management, to ensure security requirements are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
* Prepare and present cybersecurity reports and documentation
* Stay current with cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and protection.
* Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Proven experience managing cybersecurity in regulated industries, particularly with FDA requirements.
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
* Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and technologies.
* Familiarity with cloud security and data protection regulations.
* Attention to Detail: Ensure thoroughness and accuracy in security assessments and documentation.
* Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of FDA cybersecurity requirements and compliance standards.
* Leadership: Ability to guide and motivate the cybersecurity team to achieve high standards.
* Communication: Effectively convey information and security requirements to various stakeholders.
* Incident Management: Efficiently handle and resolve security incidents and breaches.
