Join us. Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to carry out the CAL process via Customer Perception (CPA) style audits on Valhalla vehicles. Quality issues/opportunities are to be raised to drive their resolution to prevent reoccurrence and rotation with the CPA audit will also be required. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Continuously improve all areas of operations including quality, inspection, standardised work, cost, and people development. Be the voice of the customer by carrying out CAL audits once the cars have finished production Audits will include static checks, functional, paint, panel gaps, engine bay. This role will require the individual to manage their own time and work closely with their peers to ensure all areas within CAL and CPA have adequate cover. Key relationships of this role will be: the CPA team, PVT Team, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Design, other Quality Functions. The individual shall be responsible for working with other Aston Martin departments and to identify and resolve finished vehicle quality issues. The CAL team shall comply with multiple internal procedures and external regulations to ensure satisfactory completion of both internal and external audits. Qualification & Experience: Experience in the Automotive Industry and Vehicle Construction Proven experience in an Automotive Audit function, Production or Quality Proven knowledge and practical application of vehicle and parts inspection Ability to communicate at all levels within the company, in particular when presenting outcomes from vehicle audits In-line and final vehicle Audit experience essential (CAL/AMCPA) Experience in gap & flush, paint and general automotive inspection tools and techniques Familiar with general automotive quality standards, such as AML VIS (Visual Inspection Standards) or equivalent Understanding of outside influences, including SalesForce and Aftersales communications Level 3 AML Driving Permit GCSEs grade 5 or above in Maths, English, and Science subject Behaviours: Able to work within a team will the ability to communicate effectively, develop and escalate when appropriate Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence others.
