You will be joining the business at a strategic and exciting time in our growth.
In 2025 we plan to launch our boiler servicing, repair and install service to all of our home heating oil customers. We have a massive opportunity with a huge volume of loyal oil customers who are in need of a reliable modern service.
We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in heating system installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance of heating systems in residential and commercial settings.
Duties
1. Install, maintain, and repair heating systems including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.
2. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues within heating systems.
3. Assemble components and systems using hand tools and power tools.
4. Perform plumbing tasks related to heating installations and repairs.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities.
6. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including joiners, to complete projects efficiently.
7. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
8. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their heating needs.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a Heating Engineer.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot systems.
3. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
4. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
5. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
6. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred but not essential.
7. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
8. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
