The Best Connection are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers for work in South Ockendon. In this position, you will be tasked with the delivery and collection of goods from the depot in South Ockendon to stores and other depots in the South East, Kent, Essex and London areas. This can be both long distance and more local locations. Start times from 11am - 8 to 10 hour shifts.
The client operates a 7-day delivery, and you can expect a 5-day working week, so weekend work and flexibility is required. Standard basic pay rate for this position £16.85 with 11% increase of up to £18.90 per hour for working in the afternoons.
These are temp to perm positions with the opportunity for full time permanent contracts for the right candidates! To be eligible for this position you must hold: HGV Class 1 Licence with a maximum of 6 points Previous commercial driving experience Valid CPC and Digi Card London driving experience Delivery experience preferable
