As a Trainee Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Financial Advisers and Paraplanners in delivering an exceptional service to our clients while ensuring regulatory standards are met.
Minimum Requirements:
1. At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role within Financial Services.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
3. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure accuracy in reports and documentation.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
5. A collaborative approach to work, flexibility, and a willingness to support team members when required are valued traits.
6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for conveying information clearly and professionally.
7. Excellent numeracy skills are also essential.
8. Demonstrated commitment to upholding high ethical standards and handling sensitive information with confidentiality is expected.
9. Excellent telephone etiquette is important, as calls to providers/advisers will form part of this role.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Assist the paraplanning team with various administrative tasks, including but not limited to data entry, file management, and document preparation.
2. Work closely with financial advisers, paraplanners, and other team members to provide seamless support and deliver outstanding client service.
3. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the paraplanning department.
4. Maintain client records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information in accordance with data protection policies.
5. Collaborate with financial product providers, platforms, and custodians to request and obtain required information and documentation.
6. Conduct research and analyze data to support the financial advisers and paraplanners in ongoing advice.
7. Document ongoing advice and prepare accurate and comprehensive reports based on the information provided by paraplanners and financial advisers.
8. Ensure all documentation and processes adhere to regulatory standards and internal compliance guidelines.
Full training will be given on all aspects of the role.
Further Details of the Role and Benefits:
Full Time based in office, Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm.
Annual Leave - 25 days including Christmas. Can earn up to 5 additional annual leave days through 3-7 years of service. After 1 year of service, your birthday will be given as annual leave.
