Nixon McQuade are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of a leading company in Portadown.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for providing all round support to the department activities.
The Role:
* Processing of purchase invoices and credit notes.
* Reconciliation to ledgers.
* Supplier statement reconciliations.
* Supplier payment runs.
* Credit control.
* Liaising with other departments and suppliers to resolve queries.
* Month-end procedures.
* Set up and maintain vendor accounts.
The Person:
* Previous experience in a similar role in a busy Finance environment.
* The ability to work in a team as well as individually.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Good attention to detail.
* The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
