Contract: Permanent Salary: £54,238 - £60,151 Hours: 37 Location: Hereford Closing Date: 23/10/2024 Interview Date: 30/10/2024 Herefordshire Council is seeking a driven and dynamic individual with proven management and leadership skills and experience of transformational change to undertake the newly created role of Group Manager- Clean and Green. You will report to the Head of Highways and Traffic and assist in ensuring the service is fit for the future as we move towards a new operating model. Day to day, you will lead and manage the commissioning of the Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance, Parks and Open Spaces, Arboriculture functions as well as the in-house Public Rights of Way and Traffic Management teams, ensuring highway and public safety is maintained and that opportunities for improvement are secured both internally and externally. You would also be responsible for the delivery of Parish Lengthsman and Public Rights of Way Grant funding schemes each year, as necessary.
