The service base are located in Barrow, Kendal, or Morecambe, and the base for the role will be whichever is closest to the employee's home address. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our experienced administration team. Your role will be to support our service's smooth and efficient running. Administrative assistants work with a team of mental health practitioners and therapists to ensure that children and families receive professional services. Successful candidates must demonstrate goodorganisational skills, attention to detail, numeracy and literacy skills, and an ability to work with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. Key responsibilities include: The processing of referrals the service receives onto our internal database. The printing and posting of the services correspondence. To provide administrative support to the managers and project staff. To make necessary telephone calls and to schedule or cancel appointments as required. Ensuring confidentiality requirements are managed appropriately. Assist the Service Administrator in providing performance management data and reporting to internal and external stakeholders as needed. Applicants must be capable of working independently. About Mental Health Support Teams Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) are a national programme jointly delivered by the Department for Education, NHS England, and Health Education England. The programme has three core functions: Delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs Supporting the senior mental health lead in each education setting to introduce or develop their whole school/college approach Giving timely advice to school and college staff and liaising with external specialist services to help children and young people get the right support and stay in education The MHS teams provide direct therapeutic care to children and young people who show signs of mild to moderate mental health difficulties, alongside supporting education settings with their whole education approach.
