Our Major Infrastructure team are involved in a number of major infrastructure projects, more widely known as Nationally Significant Infrastructure projects, or NSIPs and other accelerated infrastructure schemes. They are transformational projects that, if delivered, could contribute greatly to Anglian Water’s purpose (to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to love every drop) and meeting our strategic direction objectives. The ones you may already be familiar with are: Cambridge Waste Water Treatment Plant Relocation project and our two new proposed reservoirs in Lincolnshire and the Fens. We are currently looking for a Senior NEC Contracts Manager for our Cambridge Waste-Water Treatment Relocation Project (CWWTRP), to instigate and manage the overall contract (circa £300m) between Anglian Water and the Joint Venture delivery partners, alongside direct contracting arrangements with the wider Supply Chain. This is a client side role that will be responsible for: Defining and delivering the contract management strategy, ensuring this is aligned to the Anglian Water and Major Project Objectives. Accountable for the development and subsequent implementation of the contract management function for the Cambridge Waste-Water Treatment Relocation Project (CWWTRP). Accountable for delivering high quality, robust Contract Management and Contract Administration services. Ensures that the CWWTRP has the highest levels of integrity and holds accountability for implementing self-assurance. Lead on ensuring there is appropriate, responsive and defined contractual processes to enable efficient delivery. Acts as contract interface with client, partner organisations & strategic stakeholders. Leads on development of any appropriate wider supply chain and frameworks for materials and services. Ensures adherence to internal governance to satisfy contractual and legal requirements. Leads on any contractual dispute resolutions. Identifies and proactively manages and mitigates contractual risk. Fosters close working relationships with the wider business that may need to be involved in commercial workstream. Educated to degree level in Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent experience MRICS, MAPM, or another relevant Professional Body Evidence of on-going leadership development and relevant personal development Experience in similar role at a strategic or senior level Working across complex matrix teams Success at creating an aligned culture focussed on high performance. Adept in use of standard forms of contract and developing contract strategies. NEC3 & NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation (desirable – demonstrable contractual expertise, essential Demonstrate a proven track record in dealing with effective contract management tools.
