The Role
As HSEQ Manager, you will:
Lead the safety culture through a comprehensive Behaviour-Based Safety program.
Develop and maintain the COMAH Safety Report and intervention strategy for an Upper Tier site.
Engage with Competent Authorities (HSE & EA), ensuring full compliance with legal and corporate standards.
Oversee risk assessment programs and drive continuous improvement in occupational and process safety.
Manage incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Lead ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 accreditation efforts, maintaining the Integrated Management System.
Ensure contractor safety, oversee the Permit to Work system, and enforce machinery safety protocols (PUWER, LOLER).
Act as a key figure in process safety reviews, including PHR/HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL assessments.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
A degree in Engineering or Science.
A NEBOSH Diploma (essential).
Experience managing HSEQ within an Upper Tier COMAH site or equivalent high-hazard environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to foster a culture of safety and collaboration.
Expertise in process safety, including PHR/HAZOP and LOPA, with knowledge of functional safety systems (SIS, SIL).
An in-depth understanding of legal compliance and environmental risk assessment methodologies.
