About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the SAP Technical team of the SAP Centre of Expertise where the latest SAP technologies and ways of working are being leveraged, reporting into the SAP Solutions lead. SAP CAR POSDTA technical knowledge and skills are required. You will be responsible for:
1. Hands on customising and configuring of SAP CAR / POSDTA assisting with requirement gathering.
2. Develop functional specifications, review developments and enhancements required within SAP CAR.
3. Supporting promotions management system (SAP PMR).
4. Data modelling, particularly in native HANA environment.
5. Design using a variety of different technologies inbound and outbound interfaces to SAP and Non-SAP systems.
6. Support the entire implementation effort during all project stages, ensuring that in areas of assigned responsibility milestones and related sign-offs are achieved on a timely basis and in accord with current project plan.
7. Must be able to understand requirements and collaborate with the development team to design, configure, and implement SAP CAR solution.
8. Liaising and developing relationships with cross functional teams.
9. The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP BW and SAP CAR.
What you'll need to have
These are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role:
1. Knowledge and experience of delivering SAP CAR POSDTA projects and support.
2. Experience of managing key stakeholders.
3. Previous experience of working with and developing SAP CAR POSDTA.
4. Effective communication and influencing skills.
5. Be able to present difficult technical situations in a way that is understandable for non-technical people.

1. Experience of managing a multi-cultural team working across different time zones.
2. Experience in SAP BW.
3. Experience in SAP SD.
4. Experience in SAP Retail with POSDTA.
