Overview:
Our client, a global enterprise undergoing significant digital transformation, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Enterprise Architect to lead the design, integration, and optimisation of their enterprise systems architecture. This is a key leadership role that sits at the intersection of business strategy and technology, driving scalable and future-proof solutions across a complex application landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define and own the Salesforce architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise architecture and digital initiatives.
2. Lead end-to-end solution design across Salesforce and integrated systems including SAP, Snowflake, and SnapLogic.
3. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable, efficient, and secure architecture solutions.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, DevOps, data, security, business operations) to guide solution development and delivery.
5. Establish architectural governance, best practices, and documentation standards across all Salesforce-related implementations.
6. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce technical debt, and enhance system interoperability and data flow.
7. Provide hands-on technical leadership when required, mentoring development teams and ensuring architectural integrity.
Core Skills & Experience:
1. Extensive experience as a Salesforce Architect or Technical Lead, with a deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform capabilities (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, etc.).
2. Proven experience integrating Salesforce with SAP ERP, Snowflake (for data warehousing/analytics), and SnapLogic (or similar iPaaS tools).
3. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and best practices.
4. Expertise in API design, middleware integration, and data modelling across cloud platforms.
5. Demonstrated success leading architectural strategy for large-scale, enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
6. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable:
1. Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, or CTA).
2. Experience in regulated or highly structured industries such as financial services, pharma, or manufacturing.
3. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and security frameworks in a Salesforce ecosystem.
