We've been assigned by one of the best performing teaching NHS Hospitals in the UK to help them recruit a Specialty Doctor in Anaesthetics on either a Substantive or a 12-month NHS Fixed Term basis.

Within this role, the successful appointee will be required to fulfill various duties, including:
1. Undertaking pre-operative assessment of patients as appropriate, together with post-operative management and follow-up of patients in appropriate cases.
2. Weekly theatre sessions as allocated, a proportion of which will be delivered flexibly over each week, to maintain the high level of Anaesthetic service delivery required by the Trust.
3. Various administrative duties of patients.
4. Participation in audit & clinical governance programmes for the department.
5. Participation in teaching & training at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Furthermore, the successful appointee will receive the full support of the Trust and the Directorate to develop specialist areas of interest in line with Directorate business plans and the development of services generally within the Trust.
Our client is based in a very desirable part of North West England, straddled between areas of outstanding natural beauty and idyllic rolling hills featuring national hotspots for cycling, surfing and climbing, and various transport links to cities like Manchester & London.
