Job summary Neath Port Talbot Acute Clinical Team is a dynamic Nurse Practitioner Led Service supported by Consultant Geriatricians. The Service covers a vast Geographical area- in order to fulfil this role the successful applicant must have the ability to travel between sites in a timelymanner. Main duties of the job Clerking and initial assessment of patient including clinical examination Procedures -IV cannulation, catheterization, phlebotomy Administration of IV/SC fluids, IV antibiotics and other prescribed drugs e.g. IV furosemide Taking part in board round and hand over Liaise with teams in the hospital- A and E, MAU, OPAU to discuss suitable patients that can be discharged into the community. All Registrants within ACT are accountable for ensuring that at all times the patients best interests are promoted and protected.
