What You’ll Bring: Are you passionate about driving public sector customer engagement and delivering growth? We are seeking a proactive and motivated professional to join our team and take ownership of customer interactions, promoting the usage of our compliant procurement frameworks and building brand awareness across the UK. You will be responsible for both retaining and securing new business within the public sector, including Local Authorities, NHS, Higher Education, Public Services, and other related sectors. Your role will involve providing expert advice on procurement processes and the effective use of frameworks to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions. What You’ll Achieve: As Public Sector Engagement Assistant you will: Identify national procurement opportunities by utilising various data sources, reaching out to potential customers in new markets, and driving further growth with existing customers. Build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers and key representatives within potential customers and customer groups. Stay well-informed on the challenges faced by the public sector, demonstrating expertise in your products/services, including awareness of competitor and regulatory changes. Promote new product and service developments to prospective customers through multiple communication channels, with an emphasis on a "phone-first" approach for existing and potential clients. Ensure all communications comply with procurement regulations and guidelines. Achieve targets for key performance indicators related to procurement activities and framework usage, providing regular updates to the Public Sector Engagement Manager or Head of Brand Relationship Management. Track procurement activities and build a robust pipeline of future opportunities across all frameworks, supporting the team in documenting customer, supplier, and framework interactions. Assist customers in managing ongoing relationships throughout the procurement process to ensure the highest likelihood of success, ensuring all necessary contract documentation is completed and signed.
