The role & you...
You will play a fundamental part in the opening of a brand new store, both operational and strategic, your expertise will be critical in the recruitment and training of new staff, in addition to understanding the local market to ensure stock, merchandising, and promotions are maintained, effective and relevant.
* You will have a number of years of successful supermarket management experience
* Will be able to implement and set clearly defined objectives designed to ultimately achieve departmental and store objectives
* Are highly credible, and instill the trust of your team, whilst creating a positive working environment
* Proven people manager, experienced in dealing with HR matters
* Sales focused and driven with experience gained within a multi-million pound environment
* Thorough understanding of due diligence and retail legislation (sale of goods act)
