Overview: Hunters are seeking a highly motivated and experienced and qualified Mortgage Adviser to work on a Self-Employed basis. This role offers the flexibility of self-employment, with the benefit off a constant supply of leads from a leading local independent Estate Agent. The successful candidate will be required to work within the estate agent branch for a minimum of 24hrs per week to capitalise on buyer and landlord leads from within the office, but will have the flexibility to work remotely outside of this commitment. This role is ideal for an experienced individual looking to grow their client base whilst benefiting from the support of a mentor, a stream of warm leads and provision of free of charge office space for client meetings and be part of a team Key Responsibilities: Work a minimum of 24hr per week from within a leading local independent Estate Agent in Southampton, developing relationships with the team and their clients. Offer professional mortgage & protection advice to clients, tailored to their individual needs and financial situations. Handle leads provided by the estate agent and convert them into successful mortgage applications. Generate self-sourced leads through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts. Manage the end-to-end mortgage application process, ensuring a seamless experience for clients from initial consultation to completion. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, market trends, and mortgage products. Maintain high standards of compliance and customer service. Requirements: CeMAP or equivalent qualification is essential. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a mortgage advisor. Proven track record in meeting sales targets and converting leads into sales. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
