JOB PURPOSE
Our clients Pro Agri and Groundcare divisions in Stockbridge are looking for their next working Workshop Foreman to join the team for this combined role. Reporting to the after sales and depot Manager, this key role involves identifying customers’ needs and responding as necessary, determining priorities and allocating jobs to workshop staff.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Monitoring WIP and pursuing, as necessary.
Taking customer calls, organising workload and ensuring the efficient and effective use of staff, workshop facilities and equipment.
Consulting with the Parts Manager on issues affecting availability of parts.
Raising job cards and processing them for invoicing, which will include some negotiation with customers.
Ensuring all safety rules are observed, equipment/machinery is properly maintained and safe, reviewing risk assessments, and ensuring all staff are adequately trained.
Arranging collection and deliveries with the driver and customer.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
You will be a quick thinker with problem-solving capabilities
You will have knowledge of Agricultural and/or Groundcare machinery
You will have excellent leadership and communication skills
You will be a team player
You will be organised and have good attention to detail
You will be flexible and able to quickly change between tasks or situations
Full UK Driving license
SALARY & BENEFITS

£40,000-£43,000 depending on experience
