The Juice Academy was incepted in 2013, back then as a not for profit to fill critical skills gaps and create quality careers. In 2024 we launched the Fundraiser Level 3 apprenticeship, partnering with fundraising experts to deliver the training, as we saw a vital need to support the Third Sector by upskilling current fundraisers and attracting fresh talent into the industry. The Job Description – Fundraiser Development Coach The role of the Development Coach is to coach, guide and mentor apprentices enrolled onto the Fundraiser Level 3 to ensure their timely progress towards End Point Assessment. Working in partnership with the apprentice’s line manager, you are responsible for planning activities and providing coaching to ensure the development of skills and knowledge relevant to the Fundraiser apprenticeship standard. Your overall responsibility is to guide apprentices in your caseload to become industry leading fundraisers through imparting your expert knowledge and experience upon apprentices at the beginning of their career. Main Duties: · Coach and mentor apprenticeship learners (both new hires and existing staff) using virtual coaching sessions against the entirety of KSBs for the apprenticeship standard. · Complete quarterly tripartite progress reviews that meet Quality benchmarks and Compliance requirements. · Ensure your own skill set is kept up to date and relevant, attending training courses to further your personal development and knowledge, completing a minimum of 30 hours CPD per annum in line with the apprenticeship standard(s) you deliver upon. · Providing constructive, high-quality feedback on learner assignments in the Apprentify VLE. · Support apprentice development of workplace behaviours and attitudes commensurate with the industry and apprenticeship standard. · Maintain appropriate tracking systems and procedures relating to quality, compliance, management and assessment. · To be committed to Health & Safety awareness inclusive of Safeguarding and Prevent. · Monitoring and reviewing learner welfare on a regular basis, taking any necessary action to limit the number of early leavers from the programme. · Managing and completing both business and personal administration within given timescales i.e. learner satisfaction results, expenses, review documents, reports, etc. · Upskilling learners’ knowledge regarding Safeguarding, Prevent and Equality of Opportunity rights and responsibilities. · Supporting the development of new programme curriculum. · Any other duties commensurate within the role. Requirements · Knowledge and experience of Fundraising · Experience of mentoring/coaching in a professional environment. · To hold (or pass) an Enhanced DBS check. · Knowledge of Safeguarding, Prevent and E&D. · Pastoral welfare of young people and colleagues. · Outstanding organisational and time management skills. · Ability to work in a flexible manner, adapt to different environments and solve problems independently. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
