*Harry is a clever and charming individual with the most amazing smile. He loves spending time outdoors—whether it’s exploring nature, being around animals (especially horses!), or listening to music. He also takes part in hydrotherapy and weekly Gaming Club. *Harry is looking for a Support Worker / Personal Assistant who can be a reliable and kind-hearted companion.
About the Role:
As Support Worker / Personal Assistant, you will support a 12 year old male during the day. You’ll support him in his home environment as well as at School alongside a TA. This will also include non-term time at home.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Support: Personal care and helping with complex care needs (full training provided).
• Health & Well-being: Supporting *Harry’s health and wellbeing through daily routines and activities.
• Communication: Supporting communication using assisted technology.
• The Great Outdoors: Getting outdoors—nature walks, fresh air, visiting animals and horses.
• Be a Friendly Confidant: Build a genuine connection with *Harry, providing companionship, encouragement, and positivity every day.
About You:
Caring, Patient, & Reliable: You truly want to make a difference.
Fun & Engaging: You enjoy music, gaming, and the outdoors.
Comfortable around animals – You are ready to support *Harry’s love for horses and nature.
Experience (Preferred but Not Required): Whether you’ve worked in care or not, a great attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.
Driver’s License (Preferred): A license would be helpful for taking *Harry on outings and helping him stay engaged in the community.
No experience? No problem! We provide full specialist training, so you feel confident and prepared.
