Job Description
Interim Policy and Public Affairs Manager
London
Responsibilities:
* Develop important policy positions through analysing data and evidence.
* Produce high-quality policy briefings, reports and consultation responses.
* Track and monitor policy developments.
* Build relationships with key external stakeholders, including government departments, not-for-profit organisations and those with lived experiences.
* Work and build relationships with MPs and civil servants, attending APPGs and select committees in parliament.
* Work closely and collaborate with other teams within the charity.

Essential:
* Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Excellent working knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall.
* Ability to produce high quality, evidence based internal and external briefing materials under time constraints.
* Experience developing influencing strategies and public affairs campaigns.
