The Role:
As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will be an integral part of our leadership team, working closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth running of our nursery. Your role will involve a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
1. Leadership & Support: Assist the Nursery Manager in leading and inspiring our dedicated team of educators, ensuring the highest standards of care and education.
2. Operational Management: Help oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and maintaining our high standards.
3. Curriculum Development: Collaborate in designing and implementing an engaging, creative curriculum that meets the developmental needs of each child.
4. Parent Partnership: Build strong, positive relationships with parents, maintaining open and effective communication about their child's progress.
5. Health & Safety: Uphold a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
About You:
We are searching for a Deputy Nursery Manager who is passionate about early childhood education and ready to bring energy, creativity, and leadership to our team. The ideal candidate will have:
1. Qualifications: A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), with a thorough understanding of the EYFS framework.
2. Experience: Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or senior role within an early years setting.
3. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to support and inspire a team.
4. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
5. Passion: A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to excellence.
