Key Responsibilities: Technical SEO: Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify technical SEO issues. Ensure proper implementation of structured data. Optimise website architecture, including the use of robots.txt, meta tags, and canonicalization to prevent duplicate content and improve crawl efficiency. Ensure website security (e.g., HTTPS) and address potential issues that can affect SEO. On-Page SEO: Perform comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value search terms and opportunities. Optimise meta descriptions, title, headings (H1-H3), and image alt texts. Ensure content is well-structured and adheres to SEO best practices. Off-page SEO: Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority. Engage in digital PR efforts, guest posting, and influencer outreach to secure backlinks. Monitor competitor link profiles and develop strategies to outperform. Manage and optimise local SEO for Google Business Profile listings (GMB), reviews, and citations. Brilliant Copywriting Across Platforms: Develop engaging, SEO-optimised content for various formats. Email campaigns: Craft subject lines and body copy that not only captures attention but also drives conversions. Blog posts: Write compelling and informative blogs that both engage the audience and rank well in search results. Social media captions: Create engaging, concise captions with strategically placed keywords and hashtags. Articles & Ad copy: Produce attention-grabbing headlines and persuasive copy that align with SEO goals and brand messaging. Product descriptions & Website copy: Write clear, concise, and conversion-optimised product descriptions and web pages with a strong focus on SEO integration. Develop engaging, SEO-optimised content for various formats like email campaigns, Blog posts, Social media captions, Articles & Ad copy, Product descriptions & Website copy. Performance Monitoring & Optimisation: Track and analyse key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush. Provide regular SEO performance reports, detailing progress, insights, and actionable recommendations. Use A/B testing and data-driven analysis to optimise content and on-page elements. Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure the website remains competitive and compliant with search engine guidelines. Key Requirements: Portfolio & Proof of commercial impact or growth in the last 1 year (Send along with CV & cover letter) Marketing & Commercial Mindset Proven experience in SEO optimisation for e-commerce websites. Exceptional copywriting skills with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create engaging and persuasive content. Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics). Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) Ability to collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
