Your Role as Warehouse Lead: As the Warehouse Lead, you'll oversee operations at our Bridgwater warehouse, supporting our internal and external customers. You'll ensure that services are delivered on time and to the highest standards, while keeping inventory management and transactional activities accurate and efficient. Your role will be essential in maintaining our culture of safety and quality, especially within the Nuclear sector. You'll lead by example, inspiring your team and working closely with external partners. What you'll do: Be the main point of contact for all warehouse-related requirements. Ensure goods and supplies are delivered and stored efficiently and safely. Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and support audits. Manage stock relocations to optimise warehouse space and efficiency. Oversee packing, wrapping, and loading goods for dispatch. Handle logistics, transportation, and waste management collection schedules. Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report service needs. Support continuous improvement in warehouse practices and procedures. Ensure safety, health, environmental, and quality standards are met. Train, support, and mentor new starters and team members. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock and orders.
