About the Role In this pivotal position, you will: Act as a business partner to operational, and commercial managers, building strong relationships across the board. Contribute to our budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring operational teams have clear, challenging but achievable targets. Identify risks and opportunities, track progress against key actions, and analyse performance drivers for better-informed decision-making. Take charge of costing support for internal business cases, bids, tenders, and external purposes. Work hands-on to improve financial processes and procedures, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of our reporting. Your Key Accountabilities Build and maintain strong relationships, actively participating in divisional management meetings. Lead and coach the regional Assistant Management Accountant, ensuring their development and the smooth delivery of timely financial outputs. Own the period-end process, delivering detailed variance analysis and commentary to enable better performance insights. Facilitate collaboration with the data and analytics team to ensure consistency in commercial performance reporting. Be a guardian of data integrity, working with finance colleagues to identify and resolve inaccuracies. This multifaceted role provides a platform for meaningful professional growth, allowing you to optimise performance and contribute directly to the company's success. Who We're Looking For We are seeking someone with a proactive mindset, exceptional analytical skills, and the drive to lead key financial operations. To excel in this role, you'll need: Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA preferred, though QBE may be considered). Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint ; experience with Power BI and/or SAP is a plus. Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities to coach and develop team members. A high degree of attention to detail and the adaptability to pick up new responsibilities quickly. Why Join Us?
