SEN Teaching Assistant - Pendle:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join a lovely school in the Pendle area. You must have experience supporting SEN. This position will be full-time, to start after Easter.
The Role:
1. Supporting pupils with SEN 1-1
2. Maintaining regular communication with the class teacher to monitor progress of the pupils
3. Collaborating with the teacher to help plan and deliver lessons that are in line with the national curriculum and are individualised to pupil needs
4. Implementing EHCPs
5. Building rapport with students, teachers and parents
Position Details:
* Location: Pendle
* Position: SEN TA
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Full time/Part time: Full time only
* Hours: 8:45am-3:45, Mon to Fri
* Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 per day, depending on experience
* Start date: ASAP
* End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
1. Level 2 Childcare or equivalent qualification
2. Having an excellent understanding of SEN and previous experience
3. Experience of using IEPs and EHCPs is essential
4. Team Teach training is highly desirable
ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
1. Hold Right to Work in the UK
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
