Our SOC Team are making a real difference in the world of Cyber, and this team in Gosport, working on a large, secure account, are growing Supporting enterprise scale clients, you should have proven experience working in a busy SOC with a tech-first approach and be able to lead from the front. This is a L2 role. From a technical perspective we are using Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk and MISP Threat sharing so any knowledge of these technologies would be a meaningful benefit. This role is based out of our office in Gosport. You do need to be eligible for DV Clearance. What you'll be doing: Analysing security incidents using groundbreaking tools like Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk. Leading incident response. Fine-tuning detection rules and strategies with frameworks like Mitre Att&ck to stay ahead of new threats. Craft the future of our Security Operations Centre, ensuring we remain adaptable to new challenges. What you'll bring: Experience in Security Operations Centres (SOC) and proficiency with SIEM tools. Understanding of networking, security technology, and system applications (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, etc.). Problem-solving skills to assess complex threats and deliver actionable insights. Experience with Mitre ATT&CK, incident response, and threat intelligence. It would be great if you had: • Cyber Security certifications like CRT or OSCP. • Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
