The Opportunity
You’ll be part of one of the oldest and most established steel suppliers in the UK, supporting their growth within the industry, building long-term relationships with existing clients. There are clear routes to progression, both professionally and personally, while kick-starting and elevating your career within the industry.
The Role
You will drive a customer-centric approach to capitalize on new opportunities within existing accounts, focusing on increasing spend frequency and portfolio value by ensuring all SLAs are met on time and in full. Your responsibilities include:
1. Follow up on quotations
2. Follow leads from marketing and head office
3. Produce quotations based on agreed commercials
4. Provide outstanding customer service with a “best in class” focus
The Ideal Candidate
Ideally, you will have at least two years of sales experience, either face-to-face or within an office environment. You should be experienced in delivering exceptional customer service and focused on best practices within sales. We are looking for a driven individual seeking their next challenge. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and:
1. The ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
2. Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
4. A focus on developing new business via existing accounts, qualified leads, or self-generation
