We are looking for a sharp, highly organised Product Manager to work directly with our Founder & CTO to drive product development, prioritise development tasks, and bridge the gap between technical and client-facing teams. Job Description:
The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in defining, developing, and delivering our product roadmap. Reporting directly to the Founder & CTO, this role will focus on prioritising development tasks, managing custom development projects, and ensuring effective communication between technical teams and client services. The Product Manager will also be responsible for upgrade/release notes and ensuring product changes are clearly documented and understood across the business.This position requires a highly organised and strategic thinker who understands how to successfully run and manage a development department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development processes, experience in product lifecycle management, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work directly for the Founder & CTO to prioritise development tasks and roadmap planning.
· Act as the conduit of information between the development team and client services, ensuring alignment on priorities and clear communication.
· Develop and maintain internal/external product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
· Oversee the creation and distribution of upgrade/release notes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of changes and improvements.
· Work closely with business analysts in the client services team to translate client needs into actionable development requirements.
· Manage and oversee custom development projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
· Facilitate design and development discussions, ensuring product evolution aligns with long-term company strategy.
· Ensure all development activities follow best practices, governance, and quality standards.
· Identify opportunities to improve development processes and enhance overall product efficiency
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
· Ensure clear and structured development priorities are in place, reviewed, and updated regularly.
· Deliver product roadmaps and custom development projects on time and within scope.
· Maintain efficient communication between development and client services, ensuring no critical information gaps.
· Ensure 100% completion of upgrade/release notes for every product update.
· Drive process improvements within the development department to increase efficiency and delivery timelines.
Qualifications:
· Experience in software product management or technical project management.
· Strong knowledge of software development processes and working with development teams.
· Highly organised with excellent communication skills to manage cross-functional collaboration.
· Experience in defining product roadmaps and managing custom development projects.
· Ability to work with technical and non-technical teams to translate business requirements into development priorities.
· Background in ERP, PCS, or aviation software is desirable but not essential.
Working Hours:
· 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
· Occasional weekend work when required
· Flexible working hours required, regular travel within the UK and abroad.
· Attendance at company meetings/events as requested
Salary & Benefits:
· Basic Salary: up to £45,000 per annum (experience dependant)
· Travel: Required as part of the role, UK and Internationally.
