About Our Client
My client is a rapidly growing SME business services company based in Worksop. Due to a period of growth, they are looking to invest in their finance team.
Job Description
This Finance Manager role is responsible for ensuring that all financial reporting requirements, day-to-day tasks and project work focusing on improving efficiencies within the finance team and across the wider business.
Specifically:
* Assisting with monthly and year end reporting to stakeholders.
* Preparation of month end journals (prepayments and accruals) and other month end procedures.
* Working closely with external accountants on tax compliance and audit requirements.
* Completion of balance sheet reconciliations, highlighting any efficiency opportunities available.
* Communicate effectively with the operational teams, highlighting any risks and driving efficiencies.
* Preparation of Board Packs and associated content.
* Ensure suppliers are paid in a timely controlled manner, with coordination with Group and awareness of cash flow reporting.
The Successful Applicant
This role would be ideally suited to candidates looking to take a step up or experienced accountants looking for a fresh challenge in an exciting SME.
The successful Finance Manager will have the following:
* Professional finance qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE.
* Experience working within business services/trade and services/logistics ideal but not essential.
* SAGE 200 experience ideal but not essential.
* Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work on-site 5 days.
What's on Offer
Basic salary circa £45,000 to £50,000 + benefits.
