Join our dynamic Rail and Infrastructure team at Ground Control, where we’re pushing the boundaries of arboriculture project management. We're seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting our Contracts Manager on various high-impact projects across Wessex area.
What you will achieve:
As a Site Manager, you will:
1. Collaborate with the Contracts Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain adherence to safety protocols.
3. Manage fluctuating workloads, providing guidance and support to field-based teams, enhancing team cohesion and productivity.
4. Price and scope projects, assess site requirements, and deliver outcomes that exceed client expectations.
5. Develop detailed task briefs to align project execution with strategic goals.
6. Address client concerns and manage relationships to maintain high satisfaction levels.
7. Strategically plan possessions to minimise disruptions and optimise project efficiency.
8. Ensure the seamless delivery of projects, solving issues to guarantee project continuity.
What We’re Looking For:
We welcome applications from existing Site Managers who possess:
1. SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH certifications
2. First Aid + F
3. COSS Vegetation management experience
4. Extensive experience in vegetation management and rail projects
5. A full UK driving licence
6. Ability to manage multiple teams and work across various sites, with a focus on the Wessex area

Who we are looking for:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in arboriculture or vegetation management, as well as some but not necessarily all, of the following:
* Personal Track Safety qualification
* Individual Working Alone qualification
* Controller of Site Safety qualification
* Experience of working safely within guidance and legislation
* Experience of leading teams and or coordinating the work of others
* Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively
* Be IT competent
* Ability to prioritise workload and balance demands from numerous sources to ensure that all stakeholder needs are met
