Job Description
We are recruiting a Chef de partie for a star hotel in London.
You must have experience in Continental cuisine, must have worked in a good fine dining / A la carte establishment.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
* Ensure food quality and presentation.
* Assist in developing new dishes and menus.
* Supervise and train commis chefs or other junior staff (in larger kitchens).
* Follow food hygiene and safety regulations.
* Manage portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
* Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Culinary knowledge and experience.
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
