We are recruiting for an Employer Engagement Adviser. This role will suit a self-motivated and target driven individual with previous experience of business development, working with employers to define and create new opportunities, and a good understanding and experience of current recruitment processes. In order to meet targets, the post holder will need to create effective employer partnerships in order to create opportunities for students to build and develop their career, with particular responsibility for provision of placement-related opportunities.
The post holder will work with the Employer Engagement Manager to support the provision of flexible and responsive employability services to facilitate the successful delivery of the University’s employability strategy, targets, and activity. The post holder will work within a team of employer engagement advisers working closely with academic teams to ensure that opportunities are sourced that matches the needs of our students with an emphasis on placement and work-based learning related roles.
The employer engagement adviser will work to an annual employer engagement plan which is designed to drive engagement with target sectors to increase placement and graduate opportunities, and in addition the post holder will work with the employer engagement consultants to coordinate a range of in person and online activities in order to develop student confidence and employability skills.
As a key member of the Careers+ team you will work collaboratively with your Careers+ colleagues and faculty teams to achieve the best outcomes for our students.
