The post holder will provide professional nursing and quality leadership and support across the Community Mental Health Services and Recovery Services

To ensure the implementation of all professional nursing and quality related policies across the community services and recovery services. To support with review and implementation of those policies.
To take a lead role in developing and implementing an audit programme of professional nursing issues and quality within Community Mental Health Services and Recovery Services
To ensure the highest standards of care planning and record keeping across all teams, with a clear focus on individualised plans of care, person centred practice and service user and carer co-production.
To ensure co-production with patients and carers is at the heart of the quality and nursing agenda within the service.
The post holder will have line management and oversight of Practice Development within the service, To deliver on nursing, clinical governance and quality improvement priorities within community mental health services and recovery services.
To ensure that the standards set by CQC and NMC are met and robustly monitored, providing assurance to Service Managers, Head of Service and Assistant Director.
To lead the development of nursing practice to enable continuous quality improvement in the service provision and support inter-professional practice development to meet service user needs. To ensure professional nursing and quality is integral to any staff development and training.
To lead on quality improvement projects and accreditation processes throughout the services, maintaining records and updating the Directorate on progress.
To lead and coordinate evidence for complaints, safeguarding and patient safety action plans, ensuring learning is shared and embedded.
