In this role you will:
•Undertake in-depth analysis to support the development and track execution of Group Strategy.
•Identify key issues/opportunities using internal and external sources to provide actionable strategy recommendations for the group.
•Provide support to senior Strategy Function and Group leadership as required on strategic reviews and to improve quality of strategic planning, management information (MI), accountability and governance.
•Ensure proper and timely consideration of market, industry and competitor analysis to support planning and performance management activities.
•Effectively communicate (both written and oral) across internal stakeholders – within Group Strategy, across strategy colleagues in the bank and across other functions within Group.
•Undertake quantitative analysis of market drivers, internal performance trends, and M&A related opportunities.
•Develop presentation materials, both in PowerPoint and Word format, to facilitate strategic discussions at the Group and Business/Function level.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
•Experience of working within a Strategy role in either a Consultancy or Corporate function is Essential to be considered.
•Quantitative and analytical skillset with an ability to work with complex data.
•Ability to effectively manage Senior Stakeholders.
•Knowledge of using external sources such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ is Desirable.
•Strong communication and problem solving skills, including modelling.
This role is based in London, Hybrid.
