How you'll make a difference
As a People Core Programme Manager, you'll work with the PLT and Core Programme team to identify and plan priority activity to effectively deliver the People (change) activity related to the Core programme. You will work with and influence stakeholders to achieve cost effective outcomes whilst setting standards, coaching others and embedding effective governance routines.
You will:
Identify and lead the processes for efficiently managing all Core programme activity within the People team.
Design relevant colleague solutions in conjunction with the People Partners and functional SMEs to meet Core programme needs
Embed a routine of clear programme updates to inform prioritisation of actions and assessment of outcomes.
Manage the communication of all people related Core programme updates to relevant stakeholders, taking accountability for all messaging in agreement with the PLT
Engage and coach the People team, inspiring them to develop their programme management skills to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of delivery.
Play a key role as a member of the Extended People Leadership team to ensure the function is enabling the delivery of the Core (and other) change programme(s) in a timely and sustainable manner
Manage standalone Colleague Strategy projects, leveraging technical experience (as required).
Promote agile squad working within the Society, including the adoption of digital collaboration tools (0365).
Champion the Core programme and Colleague Strategy throughout the Society.
Adhere to all relevant regulatory rules and guidance applicable to the role.
Always maintain required standards of the Conduct Rules in accordance with prevailing regulatory requirements.
Maintain full awareness of and conformance to the Risk Management Framework including but not limited to the Information Security and Data Governance supporting frameworks.
What you'll bring to the role:
Broad HR experience of multi-disciplines with a sound understanding of key functional activity.
Experience of leading the people elements of large-scale change programmes, ideally system related.
Working within a matrix management environment, engaging with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
Good attention to detail and high personal and professional standards for self and others.
Evidence of being able to positively lead through change and uncertainty.
Highly organised, methodical, resilient and capable of delivering against demanding targets and timescales in a busy environment.
