This role includes liaising closely with the Local Governing Body Chair and the Headteacher, attending governing meetings, providing effective administrative support to meet statutory obligations, drafting agendas and taking minutes and providing procedural advice to the governors. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate their excellent skills and experience in administration and will possess strengths in organisation and communication. This position requires discretion and confidentiality. This is a permanent contract with 0.8 hours per week (10 hours per meeting), term time only. There will be 3 meetings per year and these may be held outside of school hours. We are a new school that opened in September 2022 and will, over the next few years, grow in size so that we have up to 236 children between the ages of 3 and 11 who all have a love of learning that has been ignited through ‘Learning Beyond the Classroom’.
