As the Connected Care Strategic Account Manager you will coordinate all Connected Care initiatives across various divisions in the targeted strategic accounts. It involves building productive relationships with internal and external partners (including business users and C-suite executives). The primary goal is to understand and shape the hospital's digital roadmap with the C-Suite, bringing Baxter’s connected care story to life with key accounts, regions, and institutions.
You will be the key point of contact for hospital management and committees for Baxter’s entire digital health and connected care solutions portfolio. You will identify and craft regional or account-specific digital priorities and connects with your business partners to leverage the opportunities in line with the business objectives.
This role will be responsible for UK/I and Nordics
The role also contributes to the following:
1. Harmonizing and prioritizing connectivity sales efforts across all Baxter businesses;
2. Developing, together with marketing, specific talking points on digital health to support the various divisions;
3. Support the CC Strategic Alliance team in defining business needs and communicating identified solutions/partnerships to Baxter businesses;
4. Support the workflow specialist in identifying and developing the relevant digital workflows maximising our suite of solutions (or through partnerships).
5. Provide a 360° overview of digital activities to the Country Leads of the territories included in the Cluster
Your Challenge:
You will play a key role in driving and executing the go-to-market strategy of Baxter‘s digital health portfolio, including:
6. MARKET DEVELOPMENT : Collaborate closely with government affairs and market access teams to assemble and implement valuable insights from policy trends, market dynamics, and funding mechanisms. As a change agent and strategic gatekeeper, you support sales teams in prioritizing and sequencing digital health initiatives for specific strategic accounts.
7. DIGITAL BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE: Drive insights from the market, build a multi-stakeholder community, including KOLs, and engage with them through advisory boards or other relevant activities.
8. CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT: Communicate progress and success of the implementation of the digital solutions purchased by customers to the C-Suite and/or regions.
9. PROCUREMENT: Support the team to address tenders strategically by aligning the value of the digital health initiative with the hospital's digital health roadmap.
Skills and Experience
10. Masters degree or equivalent experience (> 10 years) with Digital Health Solutions in Sales, National Accounts, and Bids procedure
11. Proven ability to engage with and develop trust-based relationships with C-Suites at the hospital level. Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
12. Evidence of achieving targets and getting results. Track record in planning, running projects, and delivering on objectives
13. Prospecting, relationship building, negotiation, and closing skills. Passion for exploring, locating, and proposing new business deals and commercial models. Identifies barriers to change and addresses these appropriately.
14. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with shown experience developing clear, concise, and persuasive materials.
15. Ability to easily switch between keeping a holistic overview of market dynamics and detailed troubleshooting when required.
16. Ability to handle a matrixed environment and to exert influence without hardline authority.
17. Budgetary knowledge and experience (including P&L).
18. In-depth knowledge of national healthcare, political decision-making process, funding mechanisms, and tender’s specific national legislations
19. Works autonomously, self-starter; learns quickly.
20. Fluent in English. (Fluent in any Nordic language would be advantageous)
